This is the bush fitted in the rear height control valve between the casing and the operating shaft. It ensures that the shaft moves quietly and also that it is centralised so that oil will not bypass the seals.
2 are required per valve, or 4 per car.
It is manufactured from a special sintered compound, not to be confused with other cheaper materials that do not demonstrate the necessary frictionless qualities or robustness.
