Prestige Parts® Control Seals, which are manufactured to modern specifications and outlast the traditional 'string' seals by up to 60,000 miles (100,000 kilometres). Control Seals incorporate a spring to restrict oil passage by just enough to lubricate the valve without excessive oil burn. This is a high-specification valve stem oil seal similar to those incorporated on later models of Rolls-Royce and Bentley. The Prestige Parts® Cylinder Head Gasket (07V103147.01-X) includes enhancements that alleviate limitations caused by use of the Bentley gasket in applications for which it was not strictly intended. The original Bentley gasket was designed for use in brand new, lower performance engines, but the Prestige Parts gasket incorporates additional features appropriate to the wide range of vehicle applications for which it is now required.
