THERMOSTAT 78C - UE36600-78-X
This is a 78C thermostat that may be fitted to cars where it is desirable to lower engine temperature. This may be particularly beneficial in countries where the ethanol content in the fuel is 10% or greater and/or there is a hot climate. Cars built from 1987 onward, or those cars fitted with catalytic convertors (where the Converter must reach a certain temperature for the catalytic function of the Converter to be effective), should be fitted with the 88C thermostat.
