RUBBER SEAL (16 FT/4.9 M) - R4-249NF-X

This seal is from the body parts section in the Rolls-Royce & Bentley parts catalogues for models built between 1946 to 1955.
It's a purpose-made seal designed for a variety of coachbuilt vehicles, but primarily on the Mulliner body, where it is used in the trunk lid. However, it is also used in various Park Ward models and on the Phantom V.
The seal is manufactured from closed cell neoprene to ensure sponginess and 'give' are retained for many years. Three ports have been added to the seal profile to allow the seal to compress properly when the aperture is closed.
The length sold is long enough for a complete boot re-seal.
