This plain washer is from the exhaust system & components section in the Rolls-Royce & Bentley parts catalogues for models built between 1956 to 2010.
This washer is used between the choke U tube and the manifold as well as for the larger core plug for the front of a V8 cylinder head.
Whenever you fit a car part - or fix any material for that matter - using a combination of nuts and bolts, washers should always be used.
