OIL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER, S1 & SILVER CLOUD I - RD7894.01-X

This is the Oil Pressure Transmitter for the Silver Cloud I & S1, especially designed for the Prestige Parts range, with operating parameters of 0-30 p.s.i.

Earlier versions of this transmitter have always suffered from inaccuracy at lower oil pressures, because the straight six engine operates at an oil pressure that is below the range modern transmitters are designed to read. In addition to this, the original instrument requires a higher electrical output than modern gauges, which incorporate a moving coil or stepper motor to move the needle. The Prestige Parts transmitter has been designed specifically to alleviate these problems.

Each Transmitter is tested and certificated for accuracy. Please note: In the event of an inaccurate reading after fitting a Prestige Parts transmitter please check the operation your oil pressure instrument, as these can become miscalibrated over time.
