This gasket may be used on the fuel and engine oil level transmitter.

In the Prestige Parts range we offer two alternatives, which should be chosen depending on where the gasket is being fitted.

If replacing the gasket on the fuel level indicator, we recommend selecting Prestige Parts gasket 3Z0201455V-X (please select uprated from the drop down list above), which is manufactured from certified Viton B material, and which is impervious to ethanol. Increasing levels of bioethanol in fuel is increasingly causing gaskets made from other materials to degrade, allowing fuel to leak from the transmitter.

If replacing the gasket on the oil level indicator, we recommend selecting Prestige Parts gasket 3Z0201455-X, which is manufactured from a nitrile buna compound, and which is considerably thicker and more compressible than the original paper gasket. This is to alleviate issues of distortion in the mating face on the oil level transmitter, which is often no longer perfectly flat.

  • Bentley Mulsanne, Mulsanne Turbo, Turbo R, Eight & Continental (1980-1986)

Application (oil level gasket):

  • Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I-III, Phantom V & VI, Silver Shadow , Silver Shadow II, Silver Wraith II, Corniche, Silver Spirit & Silver Spur, Flying Spur, Silver Dawn & Touring Limousine
