MANIFOLD TO CARBURETOR HEATSINK KIT - RH13183KT-X
This kit may be used in instances where fuel is boiling away from the float chambers, causing problems with hot starting. This is particularly prevalent with the use of ethanol in modern fuel, which is more volatile than fuels with lower ethanol content. It works by insulating the Carburetor from the inlet manifold, preventing heat transfer between the two parts. Independent testing shows a reduction in heat transfer of up to 15 degrees centigrade when this kit is fitted.
