MAIN SHELL SET (STANDARD) - RH2499-X

Prestige Parts Crankshaft Bearing Sets are made exclusively for us by a major manufacturer of high-end engine components and supplier to many large car manufacturers. Engine bearing shells are usually made either from lead indium or steel-backed tri-metal (lead, tin and copper), material, the latter generally thought to be superior. Prestige Parts bearings are tri-metal, and are of an identical composition to those currently supplied by Bentley Motors. Tri-metal bearings are suitable for use with either chrome molybdenum crankshafts (as fitted to the Silver Cloud II, S2), or those that have been hardened using nitriding processes (Silver Cloud III, S3 and later models). Now supplied complete with thrust washers (standard size).
