This lead is from the electrical & ignition section in the Rolls-Royce & Bentley parts catalogues for models built between 1980 to 2003.

Set of ten ignition leads including two coil leads. Set comprises of 8 plug leads and 2 coil leads. Cable is 7mm black silicone reactive core. Plug ends are stainless steel plug terminal with OE shape silicone boot. Distributor/Coil ends are original style terminal connections with silicone boots.

As with all high-usage engine components, ignition leads wear out over time and need replacing. Integral to the engine's fuel ignition system, ignition leads are responsible for carrying the electrical current from the ignition coil to the spark plug. Sometimes known as high-tension, or HT, leads (referring to the voltage they carry), each ignition cable encloses a single wire through which the current flows before returning via the opposite battery terminal or negative terminal.

Common symptoms of faulty ignition leads include bad starting, misfiring, rough running and radio interference. Damage is usually caused by worn-out cable insulation or dirty cable connectors. Left unchecked, this damage could lead to excessive fuel consumption.
