IntroCar recommends the installation of Prestige Parts Control Seals, which are manufactured to modern specifications and outlast the traditional 'string' seals by up to 60,000 miles (100,000 kilometres). Control Seals incorporate a spring to restrict oil passage by just enough to lubricate the valve without excessive oil burn. This is a high-specification valve stem oil seal similar to those incorporated on later models of Rolls-Royce and Bentley. No modification of the engine is required.
