This is the Fan Delay Thermostat controlling the auxiliary/electric cooling fans, located in the thermostat housing. It prevents the auxiliary electric cooling fans operating, and keeps the air conditioning lower quantity flap closed, until the engine temperature reaches 44?C. It is no longer available from Bentley Motors, but has been reintroduced via the Prestige Parts range.
