New and Improved Wheel Cylinder Kits

There are two different types of wheel cylinder because the Bentley S1 and the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I have slightly larger bores. The Bentley S2 and the Bentley S3 move to a smaller bore in design. There are also different wheel cylinder kits for the front and the rear because they are different sized cylinders.

The front has 4 cylinders for each axle. Each wheel has two brake cylinders so four kits are needed for the front. The rear only has two cylinders so two kits are required in total for the rear. The big difference about the new Prestige Parts® wheel cylinder kits is that a spreader is incorporate with the seal kit.

In this video Matt opens up the wheel cylinder kit to show the components:

• The dust cover that goes on the outside is included
• The cup seal that goes on the inside, which does the main also. That cup seal was originally included in the genuine kit. The cup seal goes inside and ensures that the seal is making good contact, raising the lip of the seal just to make sure that it is sitting in the right place.
