IntroCar's COVID-19 Response: Customer Update

Here at IntroCar we are carefully monitoring the COVID-19 situation, trying to keep abreast of the latest developments internationally and how it affects our daily operations. Of utmost importance is the health and well-being of our staff, customers, and suppliers, and we wish to ensure that everyone is safe, remains healthy and the business is able to weather the economic uncertainties that potential quarantines present.

There are several new working arrangements that we will be implementing, based on the following priorities:

  1. Protecting staff and mitigating the risk of contracting coronavirus
  2. Maintaining normal business
  3. Acting in line with our social responsibilities

Where possible, we have set staff members up with the ability to work remotely until further notice and for those who need to be working on site, we are adopting social distancing and maintaining only a skeleton staff on rotation to pick, pack and dispatch. 

Our most recent update from DHL is that they are still operating as normally as possible. Cargo is still moving across borders, even though commercial flights have been grounded. DHL are still collecting & delivering from any business address that is open.

They have indicated that there may be a staff shortage at some point due to individuals falling ill or self isolating which may delay collections. 
 
We are still receiving orders placed with Bentley on a daily basis.
 
The current changes to our day to day operations will therefore include the following:

  • All calls and emails are being forwarded to staff members who are working remotely to maintain social distancing. We do not currently envisage disruption to the ability to answer and respond to enquiries
  • We are fortunate that the IntroCar offices receive very few customer visits but we will temporarily suspend any requested on premise visits until further notice.
  • If we are mandated to close by Government order, we will continue to answer enquiries and raise orders for customers for fulfillment as soon as we are able to open the doors.

There will be no impact on the ability to fulfill orders whilst our staff are able to maintain this current working model. As soon as we have any further communication relating to our 3rd party couriers or suppliers we will update this page with new information.
